Providing Safe and Affordable Housing

for Veterans, Seniors, and those in recovery

At Heart Haven Home, we are committed to helping veterans who are at risk of housing insecurity. With a shortage of affordable housing options for seniors, we aim to bridge the gap and make a positive impact in our community. Currently, there’s a 5-year waiting list at one facility, but we are here to help change that.

More Than Just Housing: A Sense of Belonging for Veterans

At Heart Haven Home, we take pride in offering a range of services tailored specifically for veterans. Our shared housing units are more than just places to live; they’re vibrant, close-knit communities that provide veterans with a sense of belonging, support, and stability. We provide safe, comfortable, and affordable housing options that not only meet veterans’ physical needs but also nurture their emotional well-being. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that veterans have access to the resources they need to thrive, so they can live with dignity and security.

Heart Haven Homes is actively seeking compassionate homeowners in Idaho and Washington State who are willing to rent or sell their properties to benefit our organization and our clients. By partnering with us, you can play a crucial role in addressing the housing challenges faced by veterans transitioning to civilian life.

Your decision to rent or sell your property to benefit Heart Haven Homes, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, not only provides a stable and supportive environment for veterans but also offers potential tax benefits. Depending on your circumstances and the specifics of the transaction, you may be eligible for tax deductions or credits. Our team can provide you with detailed information and connect you with tax professionals who can assist you in maximizing these benefits. Join us in making a difference in the lives of veterans by opening your heart – and your home-  to those who have served our country.

Our Top Priorities

At Heart Haven Home, our unwavering commitment revolves around several core priorities that guide our every action and decision. These priorities form the foundation of our mission and serve as the driving force behind our efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of veterans facing housing insecurity. Each day, we dedicate ourselves to the following key areas:

Ensuring veterans have access to secure, comfortable, and affordable shared housing options that promote a sense of belonging and well-being.

PROVIDING SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE HOUSING

Recognizing that a home is more than just a place to stay, we focus on creating environments that nurture veterans’ emotional and mental health.

NURTURING EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

Addressing the pressing need for affordable senior housing, especially in communities with long waiting lists.

BRIDGING THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING GAP

Fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among veterans within our shared housing units.

BUILDING STRONG, CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITIES
